<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title>The evolution of the society and that of the information and communication technologies of the last decades have brought great changes in the business world and in the way, companies relate and view the consumers. In this context of the everchanging world of the 21st Century, we must see how the concept of marketing has evolved in the last century and how these shifts must be applied in today’s world. Our paper presents a brief the evolution of the marketing concept from the first ideas of marketing in the beginning of the last century and up to our days, we underline the shifts that have occurred in an interconnected world from an exclusive to an inclusive approach, from individual to social actions etc. We also point out the need to change and adapt the marketing strategy to deliver value to consumers, employees, to business partners and vision to shareholders. This paper analyses several knowledge cycle models and discusses their importance in relation with the knowledge management, even though it seems to be few models that bring something truly new in understanding knowledge and knowledge cycle activities. That is the reason we chose to address some of these, starting with the first most influential one, the Wiig model, and finishing with a less structured but very comprehensive approach, the Heisig model.</abstract>

<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title>During the last decades, the military combat vehicles and trucks were equipped with various weapon systems and laser rangefinders, optical devices and sighting equipment. The military vehicles were thus upgraded, so they become a more attractive target for enemy fire. Since ballistic armour cannot and will never completely protect vehicles against kinetic or explosive ammunitions, various pyrotechnic countermeasure systems such as smoke screening, were designed and implemented. Generating smoke screens or flares in the desired area (around the combat armoured vehicles) is a concern of many manufacturers of pyrotechnic protection systems, aiming to protect against detection in the visual (VIS) and infrared (IR) spectrum. The goal of this article is to present a brief state-of-the-art regarding the development of pyrotechnic smoke camouflage systems and flares used to ensure countermeasures in the visible and infrared electromagnetic spectrum. Types of pyrotechnic systems and structures for the protection of military vehicles will be described briefly.</abstract>

Heritage buildings represent elements of territorial identity of the cities due to the multiple valences they incorporate (historical, architectural, artistic, and cultural). Due to the particular characteristics of the built heritage, multiple possibilities of reuse are associated with it. Thus, the evaluation of the economic use value of heritage buildings is justified. This work aims to evaluate the economic use value of historical monuments located in the protected urban area C.A. Rosetti-Maria Rosetti-Popa Petre, located in the central part of Bucharest. The main results of the paper reveal the fact that the multiple forms of reuse of heritage buildings in the analyzed protected urban area are under the impact of the accelerated dynamics of services (commercial spaces, office spaces, hotels). Some reuses affect the architectural value of historical monuments through interventions that involve modifying the exterior architecture or the character/valuable elements of the interior, as well as a higher regime of height than the neighborhood average, which also generates discontinuities in the historical urban fabric.

The design, implementation and evaluation of the initial and continuous training programs for teaching staff are based on the competence approach model, as a way of defining and recognizing training results. Competences are defined as integrative sets of knowledge, skills, motivations and attitudes that mediate professional behaviour and guarantee expert action in specific fields and contexts of activity for the teaching profession. The main fields in which the competences corresponding to the teaching profession are defined and according to which the continuous training programs are designed, realized and evaluated, are: the specialty field, corresponding to the educational disciplines and the teaching position held by the teaching staff; the field of pedagogy and educational psychology; the field of didactics/specialized didactics; the field of educational management and school legislation; the field of information and communication techniques applied in teaching and learning processes, in institutional management and data management. The competence system on which this methodology is based takes over and adapts to the specifics of the teaching profession and to the requirements of Romanian pre-university education the categories and levels of competence with which the European Qualifications Framework and the National Qualifications Framework in higher education operate. The system operates with two fundamental categories of competences: professional competences: cognitive competences; functional-action skills; and transversal skills: role skills; to which the intercultural and interrelationship competence is added, the competence meant to ensure well-being and the competence to support the environment, according to what is stated by the OECD in the PISA Global Competence Framework, The European Sustainability Competence Framework, The Council of Europe Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Cultures. The pedagogic practice internship involves a set of activities of observation, analysis and support of lessons, all under the guidance of a pedagogic practice mentor. The research method used was the survey, the questionnaire instrument being used in order to interview the students of the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, Faculty of Letters and Arts and Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.

In nowadays’ politically charged and highly unstable environment, translators often find themselves in the difficult position of having to cater both to the original message of a source text, and to the more or less obvious political and social expectations of the media outlets that will broadcast the said political materials. More often than not, unfortunately, magazines and newspapers do not render the full-text translations of the speeches or statements delivered by international political actors, but rather subjectively tinged bits and pieces thereof, in a more or less covert attempt to cater to their readership’s biases and expectations. This brings up a series of challenging questions regarding the ethical dimension of translating political discourse across international boundaries, and the waning importance of faithfulness in the field of international political translation.

Those who are interested in knowing the true history of the Romanian people should look for the truth in the archives, not in works written by certain party historians or by some politicians, who, in order to promote the interests of the party they serve, have hidden or distorted and continue to hide or distort, deliberately, the historical truth. At the same time, certain episodes in the history of Romanians have been distorted from their noble purpose by petty foreign interests, mercenaries, participants in coups, plotters, spies, opportunists, frivolous people, etc. The opportunists were the most dangerous because they cleverly disguised their intentions and were meticulously prepared to jump from one side to the other at key moments in the course of actions, on whose support they were relying heavily. One of the important episodes in the history of the Romanians, where the aspects mentioned above were manifested, was the Little Union, which was for the Romanians and their leaders of good faith, one of the most uplifting moments in our troubled history, about which I wish to speak below, using as research method which aims at analyzing specific documents and focusing on a certain extent on the answer to the question: “Was it or was it not Mihai Kogălniceanu a man who played on both sides of the in the process of electing Alexandru Ioan Cuza as a ruler of the Romanian Principalities?”

The report shares some theoretical propositions in relation to human resource management in the aviation industry. Definitions of its essence are given and the individual elements of the system built in this regard are highlighted. An attempt was made to study the state of air transport and the role of human resources in the business conditions of Bulgaria. On the one hand, it was shared the importance of the human resources management system for increasing the quality of the performed activities, and on the other the need to improve it, due to the lack of suitable personnel for the aviation industry. Some factors and challenges of the modern business environment that impact on human resource management are highlighted. Guidelines for its improvement are proposed. They are related to ensure the conditions for carrying out vocational training; search for possible solutions to overcome the weaknesses and strengthen the positive aspects of the human resources management system; compliance with a certain algorithm when evaluating the effectiveness of vocational training of employees; continuous investment in the development of the knowledge and skills of the employed, in accordance with the developed and designed vocational training programs; improving the forms of vocational training; exchange of experience and ideas from world practice on human resource management in the aviation industry.

It seems like in our present time, there a lot of methods that can help us to reduce as much as possible the risks that appear in the crisis times. It is well known that people behave different when a crisis time arises. In the following document, we are going to focus on human behavior in crisis times, the factors that influence the way people act when they are passing through different situations, how we integrate these behaviors together from which we are going to conclude and propose different types of models that can create a powerful warning system, hoping to increase the efficiency of crisis management. The present article states that there is not a universal direction that can be followed in order to solve crisis because resilience in crisis situations depends not only on the education and the social environment in which a human being grows but also on the actual context of personal development that a person has achieved.

<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title> The role of providing ready-to-use food, regarded as a multiplicator of the combat force of the formations of the Bulgarian Army (BA) participating in peace keeping operations (PKO) is beyond doubt. The concept of the feeding of a battalion battle group (BBG), which is a potential participant in PKO should be sustainable under any conditions in different climatic zones and altitudes, providing for the specific needs of the personnel in accordance with their sex, age, health status, body mass index (BMI) and personal preferences. The energy needs of the servicemen in a BBG on a PKO in hot climates are equal to those in moderate climates - 3595 kcal per day. During combat operations this need rises to 4905 kcal per day.</abstract>
