Acta Horticulturae et Regiotecturae

 Acta horticulturae et regiotecturae (AHR) is a peer reviewed, open access, scholarly journal aimed at presenting and disseminating the latest, up-to-date results of scientific research in the fields of landscape engineering, landscape architecture and horticulture within the context of climatic changes and sustainable development. The journal focuses on the publication of original research exploring the ideas and challenges that are central to horticulture and viticulture, nature, environment and landscape protection, management, sustainability, and related fields.  Authors are fully responsible for the originality, scientific quality and formal correctness of their paper.  Our journal was first published in 1998.  ISSN: 1335-2563 (printed edition)  ISSN: 1338-5259 (online)  Journal periodicity: 2 issues per year  Online publishing: May 31 (issue 1), November 30 (issue 2).  The Journal is published for the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (corporate author/editorial Office – Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering), on the De Gruyter Sciendo platform.  The Journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)  Fees  We believe in the importance of open access and therefore no fees apply for publishing in Acta Horticulturae et Regiotecturae.  Rights &amp; Licenses  By submitting the manuscript, You agree with the conditions under which the journal is published creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/  Peer review  The Journal applies a double-blind peer review process. Articles are reviewed by two independent reviewers who are not involved as a participant, supervisor, technical reviewer, or advisor in the work being reviewed.  Plagiarism screening  All manuscripts are checked by iThenticate software (Similarity Check service).  Rejection rate:   30%   Paper/Manuscript Submit  Manuscripts should be submitted by one of the authors of the manuscript through the Open journal system.   The corresponding (submitting) author is responsible for managing all communication between the journal and all co-authors, before and after publication. Before publication, papers will be emailed to the corresponding author for proofreading. The author’s response, with or without corrections, should be sent as soon as possible. Compliance with these instructions is obligatory for all authors.   Types of published papers  Acta Horticulturae et Regiotecturae publishes peer-reviewed papers. All papers are published in English.    Peer-reviewed papers     Scientific Papers,  Short Communications,  Review Papers. The AHR publishes scientific articles as outputs from research and observations, as well as reviews or reports from workshops and conferences. Papers are published in regular or special (thematic) issues. Plagiarism Policy  The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscripts screening, aimed to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process.
