The paper presents software environement for fastprototyping and verification of motion control systems forship. The environement is prepared for isomorphic reducedship model which is used for training and in research ina area of ship motion control. The control system is buildusing Matlab-Simulink-xPC package which simplifiesand accellerates design and verification of new controlalgorithms. The systems was prepared also for Hardwarein-the-loop trials when a designed control system is tested inside a virtual environment instead of realactuators, disturbances, communication and measurement devices.
