<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>Competitiveness and performance of businesses today depend on the ability to respond to changes, implementation of new methods, techniques and approaches in the management of business processes, business activities, and logistics. The aim of the article is to present the results of empirical research in the field of change management and implementation of selected approaches in the management of production processes in manufacturing enterprises and in the enterprises of the wood processing industry (WPI) enterprises in Slovakia which affect the level of return on equity (ROE).</p></abstract>
