<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>In this paper, a new distribution record of <italic>Phytolacca acinosa</italic> in Poland is presented. It was found on 30 September 2018 in Kraków, southern Poland, growing in a hedge of <italic>Ligustrum vulgare</italic>. Currently, it should be treated as a casual alien species in the Polish flora. The updated map of the distribution of <italic>P</italic>. <italic>acinosa</italic> in Poland is provided using the ATPOL cartogram method.</p></abstract>
