The Paper Review Process in Nova Biotechnologica et Chimica
All articles are peer-reviewed by at least two qualified, independed reviewers, and by the Editorial Board members. Reviewers are aware of the identity of the authors, but authors are unaware of the identity of reviewers. The review process takes up to 4-6 weeks, and ends up with a review report and decision (acceptance, required revision or rejection) that will be delivered to corresponding author. Editors latter communicate with authors, as required, and indicate the necessary amendments to improve the quality of the paper. Editors believe that authors will find the reviewers' comments constructive, helpful and will consider using them to revise their work. The revised papers are sent to the reviewers for evaluation again.
Papers considered by the Editor in Chief as clearly below the standards of the journal, out of the journal´s scope or not in the required NBC form, are rejected without review. Authors who receive rejection letters should be aware that editorial boards are highly selective in their decision process to maintain the high editorial quality and citation rate.
These instructions apply to manuscripts submitted for publication in the Nova Biotechnologica et Chimica. It is important that authors follow the manuscript instructions carefully. The text, tables and figures have to be in one document. Please, download and read the Instructions here.
