The Journal of Electrical Bioimpedance (JoEB) is an international, peer reviewed, fast publication, non-commercial, open access journal. Original research papers, review articles and educational material within all aspects of electrical bioimpedance are published.
The JoEB was established in 2010 by the Oslo Bioimpedance Group in Norway, as a specialized channel for publications related to the passive electrical properties of biomaterials. It has since been maintained as a not-for-profit journal with the main intention of offering new and established researchers in the field an easily accessible source of information.
We accept a wide range of papers that are related to electrical bioimpedance. Our aim is to cover the theory, experiments and applications that will typically be of interest to international bioimpedance students and researchers. Examples of relevant scientific topics can be (but are not limited to):
JoEB is a non-profit journal and we only charge a publication fee to cover our direct publication costs. All the editorial functions are based on voluntary work. The publication fee is currently 400 Euro.
Journal of Electrical Bioimpedance is covered by the following services:

Original research papers, review articles and educational material within all aspects of electrical bioimpedance are published in the Journal of Electrical Bioimpedance (JEB). We may also accept manuscripts that are not directly reporting on bioimpedance work, but are focusing on research that is relevant for electrical bioimpedance and hence of particular interest to our readers. For educational material, only the theory part (syllabus) will be published in JEB and links will be made to any other material (videos, presentations, websites, etc) that the authors wish to share. Manuscripts submitted to JEB should adhere strictly to the MS Word template.
