The print journal Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications publishes high-quality refereed original papers and may also include research problems. The journal is devoted to Classical and General Algebra along with its applications to Computer Science and Combinatorics.
Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications is a single-blind peer-reviewed journal.
Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications was founded by Kazimierz Głazek in 1995. The journal provides a medium by which new ideas can be exchanged and discussed among researchers from diverse fields of general algebra. The aim is to support and develop algebraic-structural thinking in applied areas, especially in computer science. Original research articles, but also survey papers and short notes, are welcome. About 20 eminent professors and researchers from different countries working in different branches of general algebra have joined the editorial board. All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed within approximately five months. The editors encourage contributions especially from the following algebraic fields:
semigroups, semirings and nearrings,
algebraic logic and algebras in logic,
iterative algebras, clones and partial clones,
lattices and ordered algebraic structures,
state-based systems and coalgebras,
The editorial board wants to encourage
the discussion of topics of common interest in different algebraic theories,
the application of methods of general algebra in other fields of mathematics,
especially in logic, coding theory and combinatorics, but also in computer science, physics and mathematical biology.
The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscripts screening, aimed to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process.
