Created in 1995 at the initiative of Professor Margareta Gyurcsik, Dialogues francophones is a journal devoted to contemporary francophone literature. It is edited by the Center for Francophone Studies at the West University of Timişoara, Romania. Its readership and contributors are international.
Dialogues francophones  aims at revealing the connections between francophone literature and literary theory, while it is also oriented towards comparative literature.

Each issue is comprised of theme-based or miscellaneous papers.
