The Acta Musei Silesiae, Scientiae Naturales publishes peer-reviewed, innovative, significant research of interest to a wide audience of biological scientists in all areas of biology, all levels of organization, and all groups of organisms. The journal requires authors to frame their research questions and discuss their results in terms of major questions of biology. All manuscripts are evaluated by members of the Editorial board to determine whether the paper should go forward for peer review.
