Central European Economic Journal

13 points in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education journal rating scale

Open access

“Central European Economic Journal” is a continuation of a long tradition of issuing scientific journals at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw. From 2001 to 2016 our journal was published under the title Ekonomia. Rynek, gospodarka, społeczeństwo. During this period it gained an opinion as a leading Polish journal in areas such as experimental economics, mainly due to research results obtained in a local laboratory. In 2016 the decision was taken to change the title and to begin collaboration with De Gruyter Open.

Editorial Board informs that in relation to all publications issued in electronic and paper form of the journal the original version of the work is the electronic version (eISSN 2543-6821), available for free on the CEEJ website on De Gruyter Open platform.

The aim of CEEJ is to publish high-quality, not published before papers that are related to important issues of economic theory and practice. We encourage the authors to submit papers that use innovative analytical methods. Our journal is addressed to international academic community but we especially invite economists from Central Europe to submit manuscripts and share the results of their research.

CEEJ publishes papers that are devoted to general economics including:

  • macroeconomics,
  • microeconomics,
  • quantitative methods and econometrics,
  • finance and banking,
  • history and methodology of economics.

Why submit:

  • transparent, comprehensive and fast peer review (double-blind review),
  • convenient, web-based and widely known manuscript submission and tracking system (Editorial Manager),
  • efficient route to fast-track publication and full advantage of De Gruyter‘s publishing platform,
  • language verification.
