Acta Marisiensis - Seria Technologica is an open access international scientific journal of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology of Târgu Mureș, which is published by the University Press under the CC BY 4.0.

Acta Marisiensis - Seria Technologica aims to meet the demand for an international journal bringing together all aspects of research from different areas of knowledge in engineering technologies. The journal fulfils this aim by publishing the original research papers of prominent international researchers. The published articles are discussed in terms of concepts, state of the art research, standards, implementations, running experiments, applications, and industrial case studies. Topics cover a wide range of engineering subjects like: manufacturing, nano and micro technology, information systems, advanced software technology, parallel and distributed computing, power and energy systems, electronics and electrotechnology, optimization techniques, signal and image processing, quality control technology.

Acta Marisiensis - Seria Technologica is an open access journal with all content freely available on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, scrawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.
This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Authors are not charged for the submission or processing of their papers.

Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.
