Acta Haematologica Polonica provides interdisciplinary assistance in the fields of oncology, experimental haematology, laboratory haematology, cytometry, coagulation studies, transfusion medicine, and transplantology. The journal publishes original experimental papers, case studies and review articles. We also publish recommendations and guidelines of specialist teams of Polish and international haematologists and transfusion specialists.
Papers published in Acta Haematologica Polonica cover specifically such topics as physiology and pathology in haematology and transfusion, focusing on the following areas:
Authors of papers published in Acta Haematologica Polonica are researchers from leading clinical and academic centres. Target readership of the journal includes both medical doctors practicing medicine at research level as well as those working in clinics.
Acta Haematologica Polonica is the official journal of the Polish Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion, and the Institute of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine, associated with Polish haematology and (blood) transfusion since 1970.
Articles submitted to the journal are first classified by Section Editor and then evaluated using the double blind peer review method. Articles in both Polish and English are accepted for publication. In addition to regular issues, the Editorial office prepares special issues associated with key conferences in the field.
