Acta Palaeobotanica is an international journal publishing original research articles in English on palaeobotany, palaeoecology, palynology and archaeobotany. All manuscripts are peer reviewed by at least two referees.

Acta Palaeobotanica, financed in 2018 under contract no. 682/P-DUN/2018 from funds of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland, designated for activities aimed at dissemination of scientific results. Project: Line-editing of research papers intended for publication in Acta Palaeobotanica (Volume 58), by a native speaker of English; and publication of two issues of the annual Acta Palaeobotanica (58: 1, 2) in electronic editions.
