Article presents The register SUGGESTIONS, what is one of the main part of the OKTOPUS system (System about land, creation and land consolidation in Slovakia). This system has been created and presented in the model catchment area of the river Žitava in the previous work (125 cadastral areas in total area of 162,801 ha). Optimal combinations of land management are described mainly for land consolidation projects from erosion control, water management and ecological perspective. Modified processes for calculating the degree of soil erosion risk of the area, coefficient of ecological stability and methods of determination of critical points are used in The register SUGGESTIONS. Based on identified and evaluated dominant problems in the area there are proposed solutions (through symbols derived from concrete situations on land blocks) where to aim potential suggestions, mainly for designers of land consolidation projects. The contribution states procedures of obtaining symbols of The register SUGGESTIONS, recommendations derived from the register and three case studies.

The call of European Commission of the Horizon 2020 programme, entitled Cultural Opposition in the Former Socialist Countries, was based on the assumption that there are a number of historical sources pointing out the great variability of independent cultural activities and movements opposed to socialist regimes in Europe. The call highlighted that the evidence of civic and political courage played an important role after 1989 and launched a competition to create a general online register of these collections. The text is dedicated to a presentation of the winning consortium called COURAGE (Cultural Opposition – Understanding the CultuRal HeritAGE of Dissent in the Former Socialist Countries). Representatives of the Czech part of the project team make readers familiar with planned activities and, in particular, with the activities related to the creation of an online register which gives closer information on the destiny of various collections, combine the activity of agents and thus provide a unique insight into the history of the Cultural Opposition activities through both the history and the present of selected collections.
In the middle of 2017 the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports published a new register of research organizations as part of an ongoing effort to establish, within the framework of the Czech Republic state administration, a central body responsible for assessing the defining attributes of research organizations, thereby removing the need for each grantor to conduct such assessment individually. The consequence of this measure is to effectively replace the existing register maintained by the Research, Development and Innovation Council, which essentially has no legal relevance compared to this new register. Successful completion of the assessment is a requirement for research organizations to obtain funding not considered to be state aid therefore the existence of a legally binding register is crucial even though the above mentioned authorities do not perceive it this way. This approach questions the future of the register itself underscored by the fact that it has been marred by legislative errors. However, the register now works and more than 112 entities (updated to 14th of December 2017) are registered and available for grantors to use to assess beneficiaries. The aim of this article is presentation with its legal substance and analysis of its meaning for potential registrants, especially in the context of providing grants, including the relevant issues.
The aim of this paper is to analyse the completeness of data contained in the register of real estate prices and values. Transactions concerning parcels with residential buildings located on them were studied. On the basis of, among others, data obtained from this register, real estate valuers evaluate real estate. The following market characteristics were selected for the analysis: transaction price, usable area, year of building construction, construction material of building walls, number of storeys, plot size, and others. The data were obtained from the District Office in Koszalin. The study was conducted on the example of Koszalin district in the years 2010‒2016. The technique of quantitative and qualitative analysis of documents was used in the study.
