In the paper solutions of trunking-dispatch systems based on the LTE system are presented. The solution in the form of separate LTE/TDD trunking system is discussed, and the concept of the LTE/FDD trunking system operating in the infrastructure of public, mobile networks is characterised.

The article is dedicated to the multi agent approach for urban public transport dispatch system to organize priority transfer management, based on interaction with traffic lights control system. The article deals with the issue of urban passenger transport priority transfer of signalized intersections. Priority transfer management algorithm developed by the authors based on interaction of traffic lights control and public transport dispatch systems. The authors considered the role of agents in interaction process of traffic lights control and public transport dispatch systems for implementation of the buses priority passage. Criterion for decision making taking into account savings and loses of time of all participants of traffic at the intersection. The results of simulation modelling of priority public transport passage a signalized intersection are presented

Security of national borders requires utilization of multimedia surveillance systems automatically gathering, processing and sharing various data. The paper presents such a system developed for the Maritime Division of the Polish Border Guard within the STRADAR project. The system, apart from providing communication means, gathers data, such as map data from AIS, GPS and radar receivers, videos and photos from camera or audio from phone calls and SMS messages, from multiple mobile units and stationary points located along the coastline. All gathered data can be visualized on a multidisplay by the personnel that can dynamically select presented data and configure form of presentation. The paper describes system functionalities, its hardware and software implementation, and presents results of acceptance tests that the system have recently passed.
Exploitation of coal from the Jiu Valley presents its own specific, in terms of coal mining deposit conditions, fact that required a continuous preoccupation for the monitoring of the work conditions, in order to ensure work-places safety. This paper intends to indicate a method of increasing the work environment safety using GIS technology, the analysis being completed at Lupeni Coal Mine, the largest Coal Mine in Jiu Valley, characterised by a low level of accidents that has taken place in there so far. It consists of an extension of accomplished studies in order to implement an intelligent dispatching system.
