the varied collection of harps in the holdings of the Czech Museum of Music contains
a total of 63 specimens.2 almost three quarters of harps (70%) are the work of makers not
yet successfully identified or are folk instruments (especially hook harps) by anonymous
makers. Of the harp builders so far identified, the collection represents Czech masters (4)
and instrument makers from France (10) and england (1).

The current harp collection at the National Museum – Czech Museum of Music (NM‑ČMH)
contains a total of sixty‑three specimens,1 and the
