Aerobatics is a sport whose specificity significantly differs from other air disciplines. Aerial figures performed in a confined space (referred to as a ‘box’) are a challenge not only for the pilots, but also for the jury evaluating the competition. Subjective scores of the judges are converted by a dedicated FPS (Fair Play System) system. FPS is the basis for the ACRO scoring software (Aerobatic Contest Result Organizer) used to convert and publish the results of aerobatic contests organized worldwide. Due to the multi-aspect nature of data processing, the system is not always understood by the players. The paper attempts to explain various stages of calculations and explore issues associated with standard judging. This aspect is extremely important, not only for the competing pilots, but also for the judges and the viewers.

Producers of large government-sponsored surveys regularly use Computer-Assisted Interviewing (CAI) software to design data collection instruments, monitor fieldwork operations, and evaluate data quality. When used in conjunction with responsive survey designs, last-minute modifications to problems in the field are quickly addressed. Complementing this strategy, but little discussed, is the need to implement similar changes in the post data collection stage of the survey data life cycle. We describe a continuous data processing system where completed interviews are carefully examined as soon as they are collected; editing, recode, and imputation programs are applied using CAI tools; and the results are reviewed to correct problematic cases. The goal: provide higher quality data and shorten the time between the conclusion of data collection and the appearance of public use data files.

This paper proposes a special System Architecture for Multi-tenancy SaaS Service (SAMSS), which studies the performance security issues at the business logic layer and data processing layer respectively. The Kalman filtering Admission Control algorithm (KAC) and the Greedy Copy Management algorithm (GCM) are proposed. At the business logic layer, Kalman filtering admission control algorithm is presented. It uses a Kalman filter to conduct the dynamic evaluation for the CPU resource for multi-tenancy SaaS service and reduces the unnecessary performance expenses caused by direct measurement of CPU resources. At the data processing layer, the Greedy Copy Management algorithm (GCM) is presented. It changes the copy placement as a K-partitioning set partitioning problem and adopts a greedy strategy to reduce the number of times for creating a data copy. Finally, the experimental analysis and results prove the feasibility and efficiency of the algorithms proposed.
This paper presents the data processing methodology for the physical modeling of ocean waves in wave flumes which was developed for the purpose of conducting hydrodynamics research in laboratory conditions. It includes the description of the research cycle, applied wave theory and the measured data processing methods. A significant achievement presented in this paper is the originally developed data analysis algorithm for the practical improvement of the wave generation process.

Small-Scale Cogeneration Plant Data Processing and Analysis
In the article, the operational data on electricity and heat energy generation in a small-scale cogeneration plant are analysed. Different measurements done in the plant formed a basis for estimation and evaluation of the savings of primary energy in comparison with distributed energy production. The authors analyse the efficiency values for the heat and the electricity production in the cogeneration regime and the savings of primary energy when the cogeneration plant works with partial load.
Problems of the data processing improving for pavement structure evaluation with help of subsurface radar probing are discussed. Iterative procedure to solve the inverse problem in frequency domain is used on the base of the genetic algorithm. For improving of data processing effectiveness it is proposed to use a modified genetic algorithm with adaptation of search range of pavement parameters. The results of reconstruction of electro-physical characteristics for model of five-layered pavement structure are presented.
