The techniques that we will employ in the first part of the article ( Sections 3 through 7 ) are those of Laplace transforms, understanding the influence of volume forces, normal stresses, and given displacements, as well as the strain-stress relation as transfer functions describing linear distributional processes in the time domain. These techniques are classical, although we will use them in a language that is borrowed from the recent literature of time domain integral equations. In a second part
