It Systems Security Management in Migration Process
This paper looks at the issue of IT systems migration as well as problems related to security policy in migration processes. Problem of migration is viewed in a broad context of changes which occur during construction or modernization of an IT system. Migration projects were classified against the background of wide spectrum of informatization strategy issues and sources of threats to information security were pointed out. Also, guidelines for improvement of security in migration process were presented.

“International Migration in the Age of Crisis and Globalization. Historical and Recent Experiences” represents a work of major interest in the field of migration and globalization. Apparently two concepts that relate one to another, on a background of major population dynamics, the two notions are the two important pillars in what might perfectly be described as a complex analysis of migration, starting from the elements that have initiated it, and culminating with a fine comparison of positive and negative aspects of this phenomenon.
In the present paper, we acknowledge the vast “semantic” bound implied by the concept of migration. Apart from inherent aspects such as the importance of remittances, the unravelling of families or the frequently discussed brain-drain, we are presented an image of Latin America, a region dominated by contradictions, since it may well be considered as both destination region and net immigration labour force.

Ontologies can be used to describe common cloud functionalities and enable common terminology to assist in cloud interoperability. In this work, we have developed the ontology for resources and operations and the ontology of interoperability problems. The aim is to clearly describe and categorize the existing functionalities, features and specificities of commercial platform asaservice offers. The first ontology also provides data type mappings among different Paa Sstorages and cross-Paa Sdata types used in inputs and outputs of the remote APIoperations to provideacommon layer for information exchange and data migration among different Paa Sproviders. The ontologies were evaluated by tools and by human experts. Furthermore, the ontologies were used in cloud interoperability prototype to show their practical applicability.
