study indicated that even limited respiratory tract ATO exposure changed rat blood parameters within a short period, and that some of these changes lasted for at least 72 h. These hematological changes were related to the concentration of ATO and the observation time. These findings indicate that further study of the ATO toxicity threshold, duration, and mechanism following inhalation exposure is warranted in experimental animals.
