This paper deals with the possibility of creating a vehicle model using a hierarchy of neural networks. Based on this model, it is possible to build an optimization cycle that looks for parameters which are influencing the driving of vehicles along given path. The given path must include a driving through the town, out of town and along the highway section, so the test track contains the greatest number of driving modes. Data for neural network are obtained from the CAN bus and the GPS sensor. Based on the built model and given route it is looking for such route drive, where it eventually came that the development of fuel consumption is lower than in unoptimized drive.
There are the various types of heat exchangers. The selection of the heat exchanger right type is the first basic assumption for its optimal operation. The heat exchanger calculation itself is another prerequisite for its optimal operation. This article deals with the variables which are usually used to describe the stationary operation of any recuperative heat exchanger with two incoming and two outgoing streams. The knowledge of these variables, including the facts resulting from them, is necessary not only from the point of view of the calculation but also from the point of view of the evaluation of the experimental data of any heat exchanger. The variables values needed for the calculation of heat exchangers, so-called key variables, must always fall within the values range determined on the basis of generally valid knowledge about heat exchangers. The article also deals with the determination of the limit values defining the values range of these key variables.

The processes of supplying natural gas are accompanied by significant losses. In this regard, the complex problem of minimizing losses and improving the efficiency of energy use is very relevant. Steel pipelines for transportation of oil and gas often cross the tracks or are located parallel to the lines of electric power transmission lines of alternating current. Most dangerous from the corrosive point of view of the combination of the chemical composition of the soil electrolyte and the vagal current density were established.
The cable-pulley system is widely used for its advantages. In this paper, application of a new algorithm for the calculation of cables on pulleys is presented. Unlike other algorithms, this algorithm enables to take the magnitude of the radius of each pulley into account. This new algorithm is implemented in the RFEM program because of its higher accuracy and efficiency. Comparison of the commonly used algorithm, which ignores pulley radius, and the new algorithm is presented.
