This article defines biomass as a prospective renewable energy source, defining the main arguments of this claim. The potential for the use of biomass as an energy source is examined on the basis of calculations of cost analysis, analysis of availability of this energy source and its applicability under SR conditions.

This work has focused on using of Bee Algorithm and Artificial Bee Colony algorithm for solution the inverse problem of subsurface radar probing in frequency domain. Bees Algorithms are used to minimize the aim function. Tree models of road constructions and their characteristics have been used for solution of the subsurface radar probing inverse problem. There has been investigated the convergence of BA and ABC algorithms at minimisation of the aim function of the inverse problem of radar subsurface probing of roadway structures. There has been investigated the impact of free arguments of BA and ABC algorithm, width of the frequency range and width of the searching interval on the error of reconstruction of electro-physical characteristics of layers and duration of algorithm operating. There has been investigated the impact of electro-physical characteristics of roadway structure layers and width of the frequency range on aim function of radar pavement monitoring inverse problem.

The article is focused on the project communication management. Industrial enterprises, which use project management must constantly search the new ways for improving. One of the possibilities is the change of management from a functional oriented to the projectoriented or process-oriented. Process-oriented and project-oriented companies have better project communication management during the all project life cycle. Communication in the project is a very important factor. According to the arguments of several authors, one of the biggest problem is that threaten the success of the project is just the communication. In each project is an important pillar - and that is communication. Only on the base of communication can the project move forward and achieve the target.

The article presents the FMEA method application, which is relevant in verification of design of two separated railway signalling systems. The efficiency of the method at the stage of the design was discussed. The method was identified as an important element of safety management process and as safety analysis method, which is included in the Safety Case and is applied for the sake of safety arguments and its assessment. Safety process management comprises several phases and appropriate actions, linked with each other in the way to create safety life cycle consistent with system life cycle. The safety case is a set of documents demonstrating that the product is compliant with defined safety requirements including analysis that indicates the correctness of the design and the correct reaction of the system to the failures, with appropriate and requested fail-safe reaction. It is necessary that railway signalling system should fulfil SIL4 requirement and remain safe in case of occurrence any kind of single failure of the equipment considered as possible.
