In the research literature, playing electronic video games has been traditionally associated with various risks for both mental and physical health. In recent years, a new type of video games call active video games or exergames have emerged. Exergames involve physical activity as a mean of interacting with the game. There is little evidence about the benefits of exergames to promote physical activity (PA). The goal of this study is to present an overview of the recently published literature on this area. A literature search on international online bibliographic databases was conducted. The expected benefits of exergames were used as categorization scheme. Studies reported that exergames significantly increase energy expenditure and heart rate compare to sedentary video gaming. Evidence is mixed on whether exergames engage children in levels of activity that are consistent with public health recommendations for physical activity and improving cardiorespiratory fitness. Studies suggested that multiplayer classes may increase children's motivation to play exergames. One study report that exergames can enhance students' motor skill. More investigations are necessary to confirm the benefits of exergames to promote PA. We suggest moving from design exergames for entertainment to design exergames for learning.

Dust generated at an electric arc furnace during steel production industry is still not a solved problem. Electric arc furnace dust (EAF) is a hazardous solid waste. Sintering of well-prepared briquetted mixtures in a shaft furnace is one of possible methods of EAFD utilisation. Simultaneously some metal oxides from exhaust gases can be separated. In this way, various metals are obtained, particularly zinc is recovered. As a result, zinc-free briquettes are received with high iron content which can be used in the steelmaking process. The purpose of the research was selecting the appropriate chemical composition of briquettes of the required strength and coke content necessary for the reduction of zinc oxide in a shaft furnace. Based on the results of the research the composition of the briquettes was selected. The best binder hydrated lime and sugar molasses and the range of proper moisture of mixture to receive briquettes of high mechanical strength were also chosen and tested. Additionally, in order to determine the thermal stability for the selected mixtures for briquetting thermal analysis was performed. A technological line of briquetting was developed to apply in a steelworks.

Performance analysis of cation and anion exchangers in water treatment plant: an industrial case study
Performance of cation and anion exchangers was evaluated by carrying out breakthrough analyses of pH, conductivity, free mineral acid (FMA) and various dissolved solids for an industrial water treatment plant of 700 gpm capacity. The breakthrough curves showed no leakage of calcium, magnesium and chloride throughout the operating period of the train, however, they indicated the early leakage of sodium, potassium, sulphate and silica. The operating/breakthrough capacity, total capacity and degree of column utilization were determined. The column utilization was found to be 67.85%, 38.93% and 16.78% against the design values of 90%, 85% and 85% for cation, primary and secondary anion exchangers respectively. The operating time of the water treatment train was significantly increased by achieving adequate capacity utilization of secondary anion exchanger. The low capacity utilization of secondary anion resin due to early silica slippage, has been discussed in the paper.

Our study is focused on solution opportunities of national road freight transport in a selected company in terms of performance utilisation of vehicles. The indicators of time and performance utilisation of lorries and their trailer units are used for analysing the transport company. Based on correlative assessment, it is possible to determine the effects of year-to-year performance variations of vehicles in terms of running performances, transport performances, average travel distance and average loading.
