ponicidin have been published. 6 , 7 , 8 In pancreatic cancer oridonin induces apoptosis and leads to an arrest in the G2/M-phase of the cell cycle. 9 , 10 , 11 , 12 Further, oridonin inhibits nuclear factor-kB. 13 Ponicidin is also known to induce apoptosis 14 , 15 , 16 , 17 but to our knowledge, there is no data for ponicidin in pancreatic cancer. Potential radiosensitization could be observed in chinese-hamster-V79 cells by oridonin. 18 Apart from this study we found no publication concerning oridonin or ponicidin induced radiomodulation. may be due to a viral airway disease with areas of atelectasis. His respiratory status improved on day five after admission, and he was restarted on enteral nutrition with PediaSure®. IV fluids were discontinued. Within forty-eight hours of starting feeds with PediaSure®, his respiratory and mental status worsened. He was difficult to arouse and developed respiratory arrest requiring emergent intubation and subsequent transfer to the paediatric intensive care unit (PICU). His capillary blood gas before arrest revealed a metabolic acidosis with respiratory

Anesthesiologists are accepted as aiming to be outstanding in patient safety and medical quality improvement. However, both preventable and inevitable adverse events still persist [ 1 , 2 ]. According to the Thai Anesthesia Incidents Study (THAI Study) database, the incidence of perioperative cardiac arrest within 24 h was 31:10,000 in 2005 with a mortality rate of 90% [ 3 , 4 ]. The Royal College of Anesthesiologists of Thailand (RCAT) initiated knowledge management tools using research to improve anesthesia processes and outcomes. Several strategies have been
