Growing trees and shrubs, part of the horticultural sector and hence the agriculture in Romania, has a long tradition, springing from the Romanians love for both of these species and the need to perform a livelihood generating task. Extending tree culture was and is favored by the climate and soil conditions conducive to the culture of many fruit species, including apple.
The achievement of an efficient management in agriculture, as in any branch of the national economy, is possible only by knowing perfectly the evolution of various economic and financial phenomena during one year of activity, their variation from provisions and in dynamics, as well as the correct diagnosis of the period.
On the basis of these data, it is possible to establish the measures for correction of the negative aspects observed and the expansion of the positive ones, for the higher profitability of the entire economic and financial activity of the agricultural holdings at the level of competitiveness imposed by the requirements and exigencies of the economy. The management of any agricultural holding (irrespective of its form of ownership) involves an essential component the economic and financial analysis by which it is supervised and evaluated its function in the system. The economic and financial analysis can be used without restriction in the management of the agricultural holding, respectively in solving any current and prospective problem that ultimately affects the level of economic efficiency itself. In this context, the economic and financial analysis finds a well-defined place and role both in the preparatory phase and in the final stage of the decision-making process.
Increasing the quantity and quality of fruit is only achieved with maximum efficiency using natural conditions, economic and optimal application of modern technologies relevant to each area of culture.
Modern technologies of culture ensures high yields of fruit of superior quality at lower costs when used judiciously tree species and varieties, crop systems adapted to the new economic social conditions, mechanization, irrigation, chemical processing and other agro-technical measures.
Although relatively recent, peach culture has grown great in our country due to the special quality of the fruit, its very complex chemical composition and the large production that can be obtained without much effort. Peach is a species slightly adapted to our climatic conditions, suffers from winter frost, but can provide productive and long productions of 10-15 years.
In recent years, the cultivation of cherry tomatoes, mainly in greenhouses, solariums and in the field, has begun to occupy ever larger areas. As a result, the cultivated assortment is a specific one, which combines performant agroproductive features with decorative purpose. The decorative features are related to the shape, color and size of the fruit, the type of growth (erect or hanging), the size of the waist and the general appearance of the bushes, etc. thus resulting in an efficient productive activity where the useful is combined with the pleasant because the cherry tomato fruits are more tasty and much richer in nutritional and therapeutic principles, which recommends them in various states of metabolic and physiological disequilibrium of the human organism.
The purpose of the paper is to thoroughly understand the soil cover in the Moroeni commune, Dâmboviţa County, in order to establish the best measures for its protection, improvement and judicious use.
The paper was drafted on the basis of data gathered in three research stages:
• the investigation and documentation stage, which took place at the end of the academic year 2016-2017;
• the stage of the field, which took place in the summer of 2017, when we made direct observations (on the spot) in the studied area, we made sketches, photographs;
• the processing and interpretation stage of the cartographic material, which took place during the academic year 2017-2018.
In the paper are presented the pedogenic factors and processes that contributed to the formation of the soil cover in the studied territory, as well, there are described both morphologically and in terms of physicochemical analyzes the classes and types of soils that have been identified on the field. It also presents the main categories of use in the studied territory and the measures for the protection and improvement of soils in order to increase their fertility.
