Abstract

The most common ventilation system in residential buildings in Ukraine is natural ventilation. In recent years, due to increased tightness of structures, an increase in the content of synthetic finishing materials in them, the quality of microclimate parameters deteriorated. One of the measures to improve the parameters of indoor air in residential buildings is the use of mechanical inflow and exhaust ventilation system. In this article the regulatory documents concerning the design of ventilation systems in Ukraine and Estonia and the requirements for air exchange in residential buildings are considered. It is established that the existing normative documents in Ukraine are analogous to European norms, which allow design the system of ventilation of residential buildings according to European standards. However, the basis for the design of ventilation systems in Ukraine is the national standards, in which mechanical ventilation, unfortunately, is provided only for the design of high-rise buildings. To maintain acceptable microclimate parameters in residential buildings, it is advisable for designers to apply the requirements for designing ventilation systems in accordance with European standards.

Abstract

To save traditional energy sources in mechanical ventilation systems, it is advisable to use low-energy ground energy for preheating or cooling the outside air. Heat exchange between ground and outside air occurs in ground heat exchangers. Many factors influence the process of heat transfer between air in the heat exchanger and the ground, in particular geological and climatic parameters of the construction site, parameters of the ventilation air in the projected house, physical and geometric parameters of the heat exchanger tube. Part of the parameters when designing a ventilation system with earth-air heat exchangers couldn’t be changed. The one of the factors, the change which directly affects the process of heat transfer between ground and air, is convective heat transfer coefficient from the internal surface of the heat exchanger tube. In this article the designs of a horizontal earthair heat exchanger with heat pipes was proposed. The use of heat pipes in designs of a horizontal heat exchanger allows intensification of the process of heat exchange by turbulence of air flow inside the heat exchanger. Besides this, additionally heat transfer from the ground to the air is carried out at the expense of heat transfer in the heat pipe itself.

Abstract

Heating of natural gas on the gas-distributive installations is carried out for prevention of creation of gas hydrates in gas pressure controller. There are a few methods of heating of natural gas: complete heating of gas and heating of gas pressure controller. The indicated methods have a row of failings, the delivered from which is possible at the use of vortex tube. Work of vortex tube consists of the simultaneous making of two streams: heated and frappe. The heated stream is used for a serve on a gas pressure controller which shuts out it freezing. Little price, insignificant sizes, absence of motive details helps to use a vortex tube for heating of natural gas on the gasdistributive installations.
