Abstract

A New Species of the Genus Ormyrus (Hymenoptera, Ormyridae) from the Steppe Zone of Ukraine. Zerova M. D., Seryogina L. Ya. - A new species (Ormyrus askanicus Zerova, sp. n.) is described from materials collected in reserve “Askania Nova” (Ukraine, Kherson Region). The new species belongs to orientalis species group (female gaster with dorsal median keel) and is near to O. novus Zerova, 2012.

Eurytoma gleditsiae sp. n. reared from the seeds of Gleditsia triacanthos L. (Caesalpiniaceae) in Kyiv, Ukraine, is described. The new species apparently parasitize Megabruchidius dorsalis (Farhaeus) (Coleoptera, Bruchidae).

A detailed redescription of Glyphomerus flavabdomen based on a previously unknown material from Georgia is represented. An improved key to the Palaearctic Glyphomerus species is provided. Review of trophical association of the Palaearctic species of Glyphomerus is given.

Abstract

Eurytoma trjapitzini Zerova et Klymenko, sp. n. is described. The new species belongs to the pistaciae species group differing from all known species by numerous (10–12) long setae on hind tibia (2–3 in the other species) and on hind femur. An improved key to species of the pistaciae group is provided. The holotype and paratypes of the new species are deposited in the collection of the I. I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology, Kyiv.

Abstract

For the first time the phytophagous chalcid wasp B. robiniae was reared from host seeds of Robinia viscosa Ventenat, in the environs of Ankara, Turkey. New data on biology and distribution are given.

Four species of the genus Idiomacromerus Crawford, 1914 are recorded from Israel as reared from flower heads of Centaurea spp. (Asteraceae). Two of them, Idiomacromerus artusis Zerova, sp. n. and I. persimilis Zerova, sp. n. are described

Abstract

Systole irana sp. n. and S. dzintari sp. n. are described from Iran. Systole complanata Zerova is recorded from Iran for the first time. These three Systole species belong to the subgenus Systole (Systole). The species of this subgenus have trophic associations with plants of family Apiaceae. An identification key to species of Systole from Iran is given. Holotype and paratypes of new species are deposited in the collection of I. I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv).
