The Slovak Journal of Civil Engineering (SJCE) is an international scientific journal published by the Faculty of Civil Engineering of The Slovak University of Technology. The SJCE aims to become a multidisciplinary forum for the presentation of original contributions and the exchange of knowledge in the broad field of civil engineering. The Journal covers topics in Architecture and Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials Engineering, Structural Engineering, Water and Sanitary Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Surveying and Geodesy. The editors of SJCE do not wish to restrict the topics suitable for publication, but would suggest some guidelines. Submitted material should report on original work which may cover either scientific or technological developments. Interdisciplinary contributions covering the economic or environmental aspects of civil engineering are also welcomed.

The Slovak Journal of Civil Engineering aims at topics which expand the boundaries of knowledge on the interface between academic research and practical applications in the broad fields of the theory of civil engineering, design and technology sectors. By providing an international forum for the interchange of information and up-to-date issues from around the world, it aims to serve the interests and needs of civil engineering scientists, applied researchers, advanced practitioners, and professionals.

All manuscripts are subject to double blind peer review by two internationally recognised experts. The journal does not have article processing charges (APCs) nor article submission charges.

Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.
