Ordoliberalism in contemporary legal orders is frequently associated with democracy or the so-called principle of a democratic state of law. However, in source assumptions of a doctrine of ordoliberalism one can perceive quite different preferred political systems. This paper aims at analysing the assumptions of a doctrine of ordoliberalism, as well as its place and role in a democratic system of contemporary states.
Presented paper concentrate on problems connected with the function of operation management within the company. Operation function is responsible for producing products and delivering services. But it needs support and input from others areas of the organization. The aim of the paper it to analyze on the basis on inter-national the main functions of operation management. We can distinguish seven main functions of operation management in the industrial enterprise: planning, scheduling, purchasing, controlling, quality control and inventory control. In each of those fields operations managers should conduct many decision affecting of-organization effectiveness.
One of the rationalization areas is the material supply process. New tasks of material supply are: integration of supply with the operation of the entire system, especially at the product design stage, effective use of material resources, reduction of the level of supply costs from the point of view of production costs. In the conditions of unit and small batch production the materials requirement needs to be carefully planned and optimized due to the use of many different kinds, types and sizes of materials and dynamic changes of demand over time. In this situation there are needed tools enabling the measurement of production costs for particular tasks on the basis of currently realized processes. One of these tools is activity based costing which is a groundwork for decision making process in the material supply area. Basing on activity based costing, a model of materials requirements planning was developed, which considers minimizing the number of different kinds and sizes of materials by using alternative materials and, consequently, lowering production costs.
In the present paper, the scope of the process line maintenance in the production plant has been presented. The issues associated with the basic functions and characteristics of the services dealing with this problem, which is crucial for the production plant, have been discussed. Modern CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) have been discussed, while indicating their specific advantages, among others, the possibility of keeping records of machinery and equipment, maintenance schedules and various types of alarms, which may disrupt or suspend the operation of production facilities, so that these systems ensure the safety of fault-free operation of machinery and equipment.
The developing countries of Asia, are faced with rapid changes as far as the economic, political, socio-cultural factors are concerned. These changes require greater investment in basic and higher education, as well as development of skills, in order to support the transition to a high-tech, service-oriented economy. Today, most Asian countries are trying to solve these problems by restructuring or reforming their education systems. The following article discusses the state of educational processes in the technical fields of higher educational institutions of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The results of the study show a high level of development of government strategies to maintain technological modernization of the country.
In connection with the entry into force of the Anti-terrorism Act, administrators of many production facilities are required to prepare a number of anti-terrorism procedures called anti-terrorist/AT attachment (Security plan related to facilities and equipment subject to mandatory protection in respect of terrorist threats). The article is a case study of the AT attachment implementation in several production plants belonging to one enterprise. It characterizes the strategy adopted in this company and the solutions developed in 2017-2019 in several production plants. The purpose of the article is to show why the implementation of this procedure is a challenge for the company.
The article presents results of research on the information flow between the client and the company, inside the company, and the problems encountered by both parties in the data exchange process. Also included are methods of securing information through unauthorized disclosure, disclosing ideas to other clients. The basis of the study was a survey directed to 75 customers ordering in the examined enterprise and a survey among 40 employees of that enterprise. The study was also based on an in-depth conversation with employees of the examined company employed at various levels. The survey shows that the clients and employees of the surveyed company are aware of the high value of information, and its security is considered one of the priorities. The survey clearly shows that customers praise data protection activities, they treat it as an element used to care for the interests of the customer, as a further environment of the product or service they purchase. However, there are often errors due to customer ignorance, communication problems, and lack of knowledge of employees. The study covered the importance of information in an enterprise as part of its competitive advantage, the reasons for investing in information protection, the occurrence of incidents, the degree of information security, and actions taken to protect information in an enterprise.
The paper presents the importance of process security as one of the parts of Total Production Maintenance. Knowledge about the standards and factors used in monitoring production processes has been systematized. The good manufacturing practices in production continuity management are presented in the article.
The paper describes the method of producing a zinc coating on steel by electro-spark deposition technology. The technology of applying electro-spark zinc to the surface was presented. Microscopic observations and corrosion resistance tests were made. The possibilities of practical application of this type of coatings in the process of repairing zinc coatings, either damaged or with manufacturing defects, were analyzed.
The analysis of product quality is an indispensable action in developing enterprises. In case of mechanical products, the non-destructive tests (NDT) are effective way to make control. Non-destructive tests allow making assessing product quality without destroying it. Due to the dynamically growing requirements of customers and necessary, the improvement actions for demanding organizations important is to make a complex analysis of quality products. Such an action was proposed to a production and service company located in Podkarpacie region of Poland. The aim was to analyze the quality of the mechanical lever and improvement the process of non-destructive tests, in order to identify the source of nonconformity with using quality management techniques. These activities were to demonstrate that the sequence (NDT and selected quality management techniques) would allow the detection of unconformities on the product surface and also identify the source of this unconformity. In the enterprise, the quality research of the product using fluorescent and magnetic-powder methods was made. After identified the unconformity on the product the additional actions which could point the source of unconformity were not practicing. The proposition of improvement in the NTD was use appropriately selected quality management techniques (Ishikawa diagram and 5Why method) after identified the unconformity. The mechanical lever was tested, which its surface using the magnetic-powder method was analyzed. After identified unconformity (scratch) using the Ishikawa diagram, the potential causes were identified and four main causes were selected (i.e.: uncleaned pattern, impurities during production, poor molding mass, poorly carried out product production method). It has been shown that sequence of NDT, Ishikawa diagram and 5Why method allows to identify the unconformity on product surface and source its creation. This sequence could be practicing to analyze other product in production and services enterprises.
